Rudy Ramirez Jr started working with his father Rudy Sr at an early age during summer breaks from school. Rudy always respected and looked up to his father, and as Rudy grew up he loved the work and wanted to carry on his father’s legacy and what he had been taught.  He worked for his father for several years and then decided to start his own company with his father’s blessing today known as D-1 Construction. Rudy realized the responsibility of not only starting his own company but starting his own family. Rudy while in school and working for his father had dreams as a young man that someday he would own his own company. He watched his father over the years and learned the lessons his father taught him about running a construction company. Rudy Sr. taught his son how to take pride in his work and to always follow through with what you say you will do whether it was on paper or with a handshake.

He takes pride in all stages of work D1 Construction performs. Prep work, ditch work, rebar, finishing core. For many years it has been just word of mouth, but as the business grew Rudy understood that every business must place resources into marketing needed to have a website built so he would attract the right customers for the services D1-Construction offers. Rudy Jr. soon realized that every business comes to a fork in the road at some point and that fork is deciding to either grow or not. At that moment Rudy Jr. decided to grow the company to hand over to the third generation, his children. D1 Construction today is one of the fastest-growing Construction Companies in Williamson, Bell, and Travis Counties. Rudy Jr. is proud today that he stands on the shoulders of his father and his children will stand on his in the future, they are living the American dream and most importantly D1 Construction is a company you can rely upon for the satisfaction of your next construction project.
